IMPORTANT NOTE , This mount will only work on late buses from 1963 until 1967 , engine bay alters on later models . I do also make an early version that goes from 1963-1967 BB-443L .
Stainless steel Return spring mount and spring . (Spring can be stretched if you need a softer pull) (Because no 2 setups are the same supplying a spring to do all variations would be impossible , this spring can be pulled a long way and will stretch )
This mount slots into the engine bay and allows a shorter spring to be used to aid return of the linkage . Prevents the need for a very long spring going from linkage to the engine lid opening , makes for a tidier spring setup , also the spring is pulling in the correct direction to help return the Hex bar back to its stop position .
No bolts etc , this just slots into position using the ridges in the floor above the engine bay , the spring holds everything in place . Very very simple to fit 2 mins plus no tools needed .
