Description
This bracket is what guides the shaft that holds the accelerator cable in place on right hand drive earlybays 1969 to 1972 models , it has to be welded onto the chassis , I have left the area above the hole unleaded just uncase you need to adjust the angle at all , If angle is wrong the shaft that runs through the hole will rub and bind on the steel . Once happy with hole position I would just run a weld along the arrowed top seam .
Also this is just the main frame , and you may need to add a spacer behind the hole if you are using the original plain steel shaft setup , rather than my bolt on bearing carrier type .
