Bit of playing around with rubber jack blocks and I think its almost not as scetchy as it was , gone with a quick lift setup , needed something that just picks it up and work on it . Shame that @equipment4garages dont do a shorter version . This just fits under an early 912 / 911 , but with a bit of rubber block machining and a set of plates to hold the blocks i think its going to be a great addition . May need to machine up a different set of blocks for my beetle and bus but simple enough . Doing a bit of digging online about my beetle , I'm 3rd owner and the number plates are from the dealership , so a bit of googling and found this out . New to me manifold , little blocked so after a few failed attempts , welding wire ramming , twiddling, swearing , brick acid , more swearing and blowing with an airline . Then sacrificed an old 912 porsche handbrake cable . With have gushage. I think it was the swearing to be honest .
